An Excellent Houston Art Event
Art has been the biggest inspiration for people starting from unknown times! Get inspired by two artists’ artworks that are going to be showcased at the Barbara Davis Gallery. Paul Fleming’s and Joe Mancuso are two Houston- based artists who will display their solo exhibitions together through November 10, 6-8:30 pm. The artists aim to provoke thoughts among gallery attendees and share their artistic practices with the audience.
How About Food?
Another big event to celebrate in Houston these days will be United We Dine fundraising event. It features Houston’s rich culinary and cultural traditions. The fundraising program is addressed to helping refugees, immigrants and underserved communities of Houston. There are several restaurants that will also be parts of it, such as Firefly Sushi, The Cookie Chic, Kim Son Restaurant, and Busy Boy Grill. Come to celebrate Houston’s diversity from 6:30 -9:30 p.m.
And How About Some Pop Culture?
We are pretty sure you know or maybe even love ‘’The Simpsons’’. Chances are that you will meet other fans of ‘’The Simpsons’’ at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center. Another Houston Event Celebrates the Brain
Creative, brainy attendees are welcome to the Houston 2018 Maker Faire, a two-day celebration where tech enthusiasts, as well as amateurs, can make their own creations in all spectrums of science, engineering, craft, performance and so on. Get creative at the Maker Faire on October 13, 10 am-6 pm.
And, Finally, Wine!
The fall season will not be complete if you don’t get warmed up with the glass of wine. This weekend The Bayou’s Fall Wine Fest will become a spot of beautiful scenery, cuisine from Houston’s top chefs and winner wines Moet Hennessy and Caymus Vineyards. Live music will accompany you during the event at Brenner’s new Blue Bar 3-6 pm.
